There is a special place called the Rainbow Bridge where pets go after they pass away. The Rainbow Bridge is a wonderful place where pets and animals are young again, whole, and unharmed. They live happily here until one day, when they will meet up again with their owners!
Coping with a loss of your best friend isn't ever easy. You'll think of all the happy memories and want that to happen again. But think about it this way. Maybe that pig was in that part of your life for a reason. Maybe you were going through some tough times and your piggy helped make it better. They made you happy. It's almost like he/she was your pig for a reason, isn't it? Or think of the fun times your piggy helped create. And if you get another pig afterwards, maybe they will make even more happy memories. Just make sure you remember the good times, not the bad, and think of happy times, not the sad.
Hazel and Chestnut
Hazel and Chestnut were special little pigs owned by Charlie G. They lived happy, healthy lives with their owner, then they both became ill and had to be put down. Chestnut was actually the first Guinea Pig of the Month here on GPC. She made Guinea Pig Cafe history and we will all remember her. Hazel was Chestnut's sister and was just as loved at Chestnut. They were both very special pigs. Here's a few pics of them.
